Please read this document carefully before accessing or using the Border Choice website. By accessing or using this website, you are agreeing to be bound by the Conditions of Use. Modification of these Conditions of Use Border Choice reserves the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting of such changes. You are therefore responsible for regularly reviewing these Conditions of Use and additional terms or notices posted on the Border Choice website. Your continued access of this website shall be deemed your conclusive acceptance of the modified agreement.
Please telephone us to pay or via site payment method by Maestro, Visa Debit, Visa Credit and MasterCard. Payment by credit card for orders. By cheque, bankers draft, building society cheque or BACS subject to satisfactory clearance and prior arrangement. (Please allow up to 10 days for cheques to clear.)
Payment is required in full at the time of ordering. All goods remain the property of Border Choice until payment is received in full. Credit facilities are extended only to those with approved credit accounts.
On receipt of your order we will give you an estimated delivery date, but due to varying workloads we cannot guarantee any delivery date. We will deliver certain products by carrier who will require a signature upon delivery. We are happy to deliver to your home address or place of work, whichever is more convenient. We cannot specify delivery times for goods being delivered by carrier nor guarantee the day. Any damage/shortages must be notified to us at the time of delivery otherwise no claims will be considered. Customers must ensure that all goods are checked thoroughly prior to signing the carriers delivery note.
All Border Choice products are guaranteed for a period of twelve months from the date of purchase. During this warranty period defective products will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. The cost of returning such items for warranty repair or replacement will be met by the purchaser. All borders are supplied with fitting, care and maintenance instructions. Border Choice will not accept responsibility for any goods which are not fitted, cared for or maintained as per the instructions supplied. Should any product be received with no instructions it is the responsibility of the customer to notify Border Choice without delay.
Border Choice does its utmost to ensure that Border Choice products 'stay stuck' following fitting, by issuing easy to follow Fitting Instructions with every delivery. However Border Choice cannot be held responsible for self-fit' preparation work prior to fitting. As a consequence Border Choice can only guarantee borders 'staying stuck' of those fitted by Border Choice fitters or those fitted by an Approved Agent of Border Choice.

Items not made to order and not bespoke Items: An item from our Freedom range of borders is considered a not made to order item or not a bespoke item. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel purchases made online from when you place your order through to fourteen days after receiving the goods. If you choose to cancel your order before we have despatched the goods, we will refund your payment through the payment processor you used within fourteen days. Unwanted goods should be sent back to us in unused, unopened, resaleable condition within fourteen days of delivery.
Made to order Items: A made to order item from our Designer or Imagine range of borders, or from our Aqua or Elegance range of motifs can only be returned for a manufacturing fault. We do not accept returns of made to order items for any other reason.
Bespoke Items: If you have ordered a bespoke item, we will give a full refund if we have not yet started the work. As it is a personalised item, we cannot refund once we have started the work. Bespoke items can only be returned for a manufacturing fault. We do not accept returns for bespoke items for any other reason.
If we have already despatched the goods, please inform us of your intention to return the items via email: firstname.lastname@example.org. If we accept the return of the item then return the items at your own cost to our UK address: Border Choice Ltd, Unit 3, Culmore Industrial Estate, Stoneykirk, Stranraer DG9 9DX. Please mark for the attention of Ian Bingham. You will receive a refund within fourteen days of us receiving the returned goods minus a small administration fee.
If the goods supplied to you are damaged on delivery or items are missing, you should notify us in writing via email immediately to email@example.com. If you have any other complaint about the goods, you should notify us in writing via this email address, as soon as possible, but in any event within 7 days of the date you discovered or ought to have discovered the damage, defect or complaint. Attach photographic evidence as applicable.
We cannot accept liability for returned goods lost or damaged during transit. You are advised to return the goods in the original packaging. You are also advised to return the goods by recorded delivery, registered post or by courier. Proof of postage will not be accepted as proof of delivery. Please remember to give us your name and address, and a copy of your purchase receipt. The cost of returning goods will be borne by you unless the goods are faulty.
Please Note: If the item has been used and the item is not damaged or faulty, we reserve the right to refuse refunds.
This returns policy does not apply to any defect in the goods arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by the manufacturer, failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions, or any alteration or repair carried out without the manufacturer’s approval.
All delivery dates are quoted in good faith and Border Choice do our up most to meet delivery dates. However Border Choice will not accept responsibility for goods that are delivered late due to transport delays that are out of Border Choice control.
We endeavour to be as accurate as possible. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site are accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free.
Any extra Tax, Duties or handling charges charged by the country that your order is delivered to remains the responsibility of the customer purchasing to pay.
